The colors of turquoise can range from pale blue to purplish-blue to blue-green. Coral has been widely used by the Indian craftsmen as a pleasing counterpoint to the blue in turquoise. Onyx is a black shiny stone. - Malachite is a green mineral with alternating dark and light stripes. - Hematite is a stone with the appearance of quicksilver or mercury and is sometimes substituted for Mother of Pearl. Multi color inlay can consist of a combination of any or all of the above mentioned stones.- All items are set in Sterling Silver unless listed otherwise.The use of animal claws in native American jewelry is fairly prevalent and usually come from bears, coyotes etc. Bear claws of any kind are illegal in some states.
